TheStraw pelletising plant up to 700 kg/h is a complete, professional production system for converting straw bales and loose agricultural material into high-quality pellets. The line has been specially optimised for straw and provides a stable, energy-efficient and economical solution for the production of fuel pellets, animal bedding or feed pellets.

Thanks to the fully integrated system - consisting of raw material preparation, mixing, granulation, cooling, dedusting and transport to the packaging area - the system guarantees a safe, clean and continuous production process with a capacity of up to700 kg per hour.

Process sequence of the straw pelleting plant

1. raw material preparation

Bales with a diameter of up to 150 cm and loose organic materials are first processed in a high-performance shredder. This optimally prepares the material for the subsequent pelletising process by reducing it to the required particle size.

2. homogenisation of the material

The pre-shredded material is processed in the horizontal mixing system, where a homogeneity of up to 95 % is achieved through an intensive mixing process. A large opening segment facilitates manual filling. A weigher with acoustic signal is available as an option.

3. pelletising - output up to 700 kg/h

The pelletising process takes place in a pelletising-efficient high-performance press with a 45 kW drive motor and an X-roller arrangement. The prerequisites are

  • Material moisture between 12-14 %
  • Shredding up to a maximum of 6 mm
  • Optional moulds for 6 mm or 8 mm pellet diameter

Under optimal conditionsup to 700 kg of pellets per hour produced.

4. calibration & cooling

After the pressing process, the hot granulate enters the drum calibrator, where it:

  • sieved,
  • cooled,
  • dehumidified,
  • dedusted

is used. The sieve drum can be configured with openings from 2-12 mm as required.

5. extraction & cleaning

A closed system removes excess dust particles and discharges them into filter bags. This minimises dust generation and enables the reuse of fine material.

6. transport & big bag filling

A robust conveyor belt with a conveying speed of 7 m/min ensures smooth transfer of the finished pellets to the packaging station. A stable big bag frame allows the safe and efficient filling of bags of different sizes.
