Stationary harvesting machine for baby leaf salad and microgreens
This motorised harvester was developed for harvesting aquaponics crops and microgreens.
The main conveyor belt transports seed trays or growbeds up to 600 mm wide to a cutter bar (adjustable cutting height). After cutting, the crop is transported directly into boxes via a second conveyor belt.
The machine is equipped with lockable castors that allow two people to push it as close as possible to the cultivated vegetables on level ground (ideally concreted). It also has a storage area where harvest boxes or harvested seed trays can be placed.
In addition, a special fuse prevents deep discharge of the battery packs. The harvester is powered by electric actuators, which are fed by a 43 Ah 24 V battery pack. The operating time can be extended accordingly with a second battery pack.
The main conveyor belt with an adjustable running speed of 0 to 4.5 m/min is driven by a 250 watt motor. The cutting height can be adjusted between 60 and 220 mm (distance between the knife bar and the main conveyor belt). As with all Terrateck harvesters, a reel ensures that the crop is transferred to the second conveyor belt after cutting. The reel can be adjusted so that it fits between the two side brackets. The various functions (lifter / reel and harvesting conveyor individually / main conveyor individually / overall system) are set via the main control box on the machine, while the respective running speeds can be regulated via a cable remote control.
