Compact filters in V-pack design or as panel filters are used wherever higher demands are placed on air purity. Mainly for the separation of coarse and fine dusts such as spores or pollen. The filters are used as pre- or main filters or as combination filters with an activated carbon layer and are also available in a biostatic version. The filter medium consists of a synthetic, pleated material, which is stabilised by so-called glue beads, enclosed in a stable plastic frame. A compact filter is used in industrial, pharmaceutical or food applications. They are dimensionally stable, pressure-resistant and energy-efficient and offer a large filter surface in a small installation space. The high dust holding capacity means that the filter has a longer service life. Compact filters can be used as an alternative to conventional pocket filters.
