PTO compressor - 8bar

PTO compressor "Tractor" from Ferroni is incl. hose & valve (8bar). The PTO compressor arebitete with equalising pressure tank and 2 cylinders with 58mm Ø. Ferroni installs a 1.5 litre tank with pressure gauge for pressure regulation in the "Tractor" PTO compressor. The maximum pressure of the compressor for the tractor is 8 bar at up to 700 rpm. The air volume of the PTO compressor is 170 litres/min. The PTO compressor is supplied complete with 4m rubber hose and tyre valve connection. Dimensions: 225 x 400 x 270mm. The "Tractor" PTO compressor is suitable for blowing out equipment and inflating various types of tyres. All this is done with the mobile compressor on the PTO shaft of the Trekker.

Material - PTO compressor "Tractor" :

The Ferroni PTO compressor is made of cast iron with lamellar graphite (formerly cast grade GG-25, now GJL-250), an iron-carbon-silicon casting alloy. Although the lamellar graphite within the casting reduces the tensile strength of the material, it increases its compressive strength by a factor of around 4. In addition to Ferroni compressors and PTO pumps, the material is also used for gearbox housings, marine diesel engines and steam turbines. The result is a mould with high compressive strength, thermal conductivity, dimensional rigidity and corrosion resistance (with undamaged cast skin).
