Optimum visibility & minimum ground displacement
Thanks to the two side-mounted"Ears" users have aImproved view of the work. At the same time, these ears prevent the row of plants from being overfilled with soil by keeping the soilto the centre of the gap redirect.
Greater efficiency with young weeds
Inless compacted soils and withlittle developed weeds the Planet Jr knife works more efficiently than conventional chopping knives. Withmore developed weeds classic chopping knives are still recommended.
V-mounting for more effective work
Typical assembly takes place inV-shapewhere thePressure screw on the notches of the knife. This has several advantages:
- The earth becomes the centrecentredwithout spilling the culture line.
- TheKnife tip points backwards - Ideal for pulling out stubborn plants with pulling movements.
Note: The knife can alternatively be used with the tip pointing forwards - but this is not its main application.
