The smaller, 1.20 m high version is simply filled from above, while the 2.20 m version can store significantly more food and can be easily filled from the front thanks to a front door.

Both variants are designed so that they can be mounted on the wall or used as a corner hay rack. This means that they can be flexibly adapted to many local conditions and existing space can be optimally utilised.

Automatic hay chute

Thanks to an integrated, sloping base plate, the hay always slides down, ensuring that there is always enough feed available and that no feed residue remains in the trough. This minimises feed waste and cleaning effort.

Feeding fence spacing suitable for horses

The feeding bars of the hay rack have a maximum clearance of 5 cm. Thanks to this small spacing, feed loss is avoided. In addition, the feed is better utilised and undesirable overfeeding is avoided. With a maximum bar spacing of 5 cm, the Variabel hay rack complies with the BMEL (Ministry of Food and Agriculture) guidelines for horse husbandry and prevents horses from stepping through the bars.
