Patura pipe fitting thermostat

Description

Patura pipe fitting thermostat

Basics for connecting heated drinking bowls and heating cables

The thermostat is connected between the socket and the heater. If the temperature falls below a certain level, the system is automatically activated. As soon as there is no longer a risk of frost, the system switches off again automatically.

With the frost protection thermostat (Ref. 381510), the switching criterion is the air temperature, while with the pipe contact thermostat (Ref. 381520), the water temperature at the water pipe is used as the switching criterion.

The use of thermostats pays for itself quickly, as the heating system only runs when it is actually needed. This saves electricity and at the same time always ensures that the heating is activated when there is a risk of frost. Ideally, the thermostats should be positioned at the coldest point.

Important: 230 V systems should be installed by a specialist.
