This ensures that the diesel engine starts reliably at low outside temperatures and runs quietly and with low emissions during the warm-up phase. It is important that the glow plugs provide a high temperature for ignition support within a short time; if this is no longer the case, they should be replaced. The glow plug can be found in the MTS 50 /52 spare parts catalogue in Fig. 66 pos. 52.
