Company History
In the early 1950s, the GDR government constructed a machinery rental station known as “MAS” at the site of today’s company.
Over the course of the development of agriculture in the GDR, both the name and the scope of responsibilities changed.
By the late 1980s, this site operated as a division of the former state-owned enterprise (VEB) District Company for Agricultural Engineering, active in the following business areas:
- Spare parts supply,
- Internal mechanisation,
- Agricultural technical training and driving school services.
Following German reunification and the political transition, the property was acquired in 1991 from the Treuhand agency by the newly founded company Brander Landtechnik Vertriebsges. mbH. The company’s business profile was subsequently adapted to meet the requirements of the market.
