Technical product description - Fliegl forwarder tongs with long-neck boom
These Fliegl logging tongs were developed for professional use in forestry, logging and landscape maintenance. The solid construction, combined with high flexibility and enormous closing force, enables safe and efficient gripping efficient gripping, transporting and stacking of tree trunks - even in demanding terrain.
Thanks to the standard combined Euronorm and three-point attachment (Cat. II) the forwarder tongs can be used universally on front loaders, forestry tractors and agricultural tractors. The hydraulically extendable long-neck boom with 600 mm adjustment travel allows infinitely variable adjustment of the working length and ensures optimum reach and high stacking heights for front attachment.
The pliers themselves are made of highly wear-resistant HB500 steel and are designed for maximum loads. A double-acting hydraulic cylinder generates an an exceptionally high closing force via a deflection, while the integrated integrated serrated ring reliably prevents the logs from slipping through.
