Digital hay meter / hay moisture meter
With the hay meter / hay moisture meter "Hay Master" (1x9V) you can easily measure moisture from 8% to 45% and temperature from 0° to 105° Celsius in hay and straw bales. The hay meter is powered by a 9v block and, at 339g, is mobile and easy to handle. The device can be used for small and large square bales as well as round bales with different bale densities. The measuring rod is 50cm long, sharpened and, with its 7mm diameter, fits easily into any bale. The Hay Master can be calibrated in less than 20 seconds using a simple clip module.
Practical experience: freshly pressed bales "tighten" and can therefore show higher moisture values in subsequent measurements.
