- "Open centre" means that this unit is intended for open systems. In the neutral position, there is an open connection between the pump and the tank
- "Non-reaction" means that external forces acting on the wheels are prevented from triggering a turning movement on the steering wheel when the steering unit is in the neutral position
- The steering unit automatically returns to the neutral position after rotation is complete
