- Composition of the article numbers: MEC = Series, 8000 = Type, P = Pulley drive
- Pumps with an "L" in the article number must be driven anti-clockwise, pumps without an "L" in the article number must be driven clockwise
- For pumps without automatic lubrication (no "A" in the article number), the pump is equipped with forced lubrication, which is adjusted using drip nozzles. Automatic lubrication available on request
- On a pump with automatic lubrication, the lubricating oil quantity is set at the factory and cannot be changed without tools
- With forced lubrication as with automatic lubrication, the function must be checked at all times during operation
- The direction of rotation is determined when the axis to be driven is directed towards the viewer
- Oil to be used to lubricate the discs: Original oil from B.P. (article number BP5070)
