TheCoating and flavouring system for pet food is a flexible solution for the production ofhigh-quality dry food. It enables the precise coating of food with with liquid and/or dry additives and adapts individually to different production requirements. production requirements. Thanks to the modular design, the components can be operated individually or operated as a complete line.
The system consists of three main components: arotating drum with spray nozzles for liquid additives, theUWD-2 module for dosing dry ingredients and aMixing drum for the final refinement. With this combination, oils, fats, spices or vitamins are evenly applied and the end product is optimally flavoured.
Phases of the coating process
- Liquid coating: Even distribution of oils or greases in a drum with spray nozzles; Precisely adjustable by speed (approx. 8 rpm), angle of inclination and quantity of liquid.
- Dry addition: Dosing of spices, vitamins or powders with 0.2 % accuracy via the UWD-2 module into the final mixing drum.
- Combination of both processes: Optimum adhesion and even distribution of liquid and dry additives.
The combination of these processes ensuresUniform, controlled flavouring of the feed. This improves the quality and optimises the nutrient composition.
