Dam tiller Ara
Dam milling Ara are used to create ridges in modern potato and root vegetable cultivation. The machine is equipped with active and passive working sets that enable strip loosening of the soil and forming of two wide and firm ridges with a distance of 75 cm or 67.5 cm enable.
After the soil has been worked first with passive tines and then with an active milling drum, a ridge former then forms the ridges. The machine comprises two working versions, which differ from each other in the distribution of the tines and the feeler wheels, as well as the tools for forming the final shape of the ridges.
In the version intended for heaping in potato cultivation, the ridges are supported by a passive dam plate moulded. In the version intended for the cultivation of root vegetables, the ridges are covered by a active dam roller moulded. Both versions can be fitted with a Seeder which doses the fertiliser directly into the heaps.
The machine is equipped with a telescopic PTO shaft with slip clutch as standard.
