Material - "Multi" wide band insulators:

Nylon used to be a brand name for polyamide, but has become so common that it can no longer be protected. Polyamide is a thermoplastic, so it can be moulded under heat and has high strength and excellent impact resistance. The melting temperature of polyamide is relatively low, which is why it is often reinforced with glass fibres. Compared to other thermoplastics, however, the material absorbs a relatively large amount of water, which has a negative effect on its insulating properties. Polyamide (PA) burns, but is resistant to fuels, alcohol, oils and greases. The material must be stabilised against the influence of UV radiation. In addition to pasture fence insulators, polyamide is most frequently used for hoses (petrol lines).
