The slot insulators "C161" 25x, for willow strand, wire is yellow transparent. With milled wooden thread - therefore easier to screw in. The slot insulators are from our own production, almost unbreakable, weatherproof, for strands, wires and tapes. Made of polycarbonate, with galvanised iron support 6mm, bag of 25 pieces

Material - slot insulators "C161" :
In chemical terms, polycarbonates are polyesters and are thermoplastics, meaning they can be moulded at certain temperatures. Polycarbonate has good electrical insulating properties and enormous impact resistance - but it only becomes scratch-resistant with special additives. The material is highly transparent, can be injection moulded and is flame retardant. Polycarbonate (PC) must be protected against UV light by stabilisers to make it weather-resistant. In addition to insulators for pasture fences, polycarbonate is also used to make CDs and plastic spectacles, for example.
